Oliver!

The Senior School Musical for 2005 is Oliver! The show will run from Tuesday 21st June until Friday 24th June at 7.30pm in the macrobert Arts Centre. Tickets are available from the macrobert box office, telephone 01786 466666. Tickets cost £10 for adults, and £7 for concessions. There are no concessions for the Friday night performance.

The dress rehearsal of Oliver! at the macrobert Theatre, Stirling went smoothly with the cast delivering a colourful and lively performance. The pictures here reflect an enthusiasm which will surely develop once a full audience is in place. Fraser Stewart (Form I) moved quickly from being a member of the Championship winning Pipe Band to a strong interpretation of his role as Oliver, while Holly McFarlane as Nancy gave a convincing performance in a lead part. Jonathan Mallet, a newcomer this year into Form III, was not surprisingly an authentic Londoner, and Sam Cartwright showed real malice as Bill Sykes.
